Just north of the Tule Springs Fossil Beds boundary, Desert National Wildlife Refuge offers a glimpse into the past. The desert springs, wildlife, and plants at the refuge are what remain of Ice Age Las Vegas. The Corn Creek Visitor Center offers Tule Springs Fossil Beds visitors a chance to get a map, Junior Ranger Book or Badge, and a passport cancellation stamp. The visitor center also offers restrooms and a water refill station.

The visitor center is open from Thursday-Monday 8:00 AM -- 4:00 PM. Hours may vary based on the summer season and staff availability. Please check Google Maps for updated operating hours.
