The walk to Dingmans Falls is an ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessible boardwalk trail that includes two waterfalls, Silverthread and Dingmans Falls.
The hike is just over half of a mile long and mostly flat. Views of Dingmans Creek and the waterfalls can be seen from the trail. The Dingmans Falls visitor center is open seasonally in the summer months, conditions permitting. Rangers and volunteers staff the information desk for visitor questions, Junior Ranger requests, and more. There is also a small bookstore with items for purchase run by Eastern National.

Leaving the boardwalk trail for any reason is not permitted in this site. The boardwalk trail is there to protect sensitive ecosystems and keep visitors safe.
Swimming is prohibited.

PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED on the trail or inside the visitor center. Actively working and trained service dogs that provide medically necessary assistance are permitted anywhere their handlers are. Emotional support and therapy animals are not covered under ADA, so they are not permitted on the trail.Leaving the boardwalk trail for any reason is not permitted in this site.
