This picnic area is great for people in the southern part of the parks wanting to unwind, use a grill, and rest under redwood trees. This picnic area is next to the Elk Prairie Campground. For those driving to this site, an $8 per vehicle day-use fee will need to be paid at the campground entrance kiosk.
