Scenic View/Photo Spot

As you approach the curve under the seeping canyon wall that can be seen from the Fort Falls trail, the river curves to the North ahead, floaters pass over the Fort Falls Rapids. These are class I rapids.

Class I Rapids are the lowest class of rapids. You may or may not even notice them depending on how high and fast the river is floating. They are on the floaters left and can be avoided by staying to the right hand side of the river channel.

These are great rapids for beginner floaters to experience and get comfortable on in a kayak or canoe. They gentle splash of water that you might experience from them can keep you cool on a hat summer day on the river.
