Built at the new entrance to the school as it expanded at the turn of the 20th century, these four brick gateposts define the former, official entrance to the Carlisle Indian Boarding School campus. As you face the gateposts from the campus side, on the left you can see the home of Glenn Scobey Warner (better known as Pop Warner), a nationally recognized football coach who coached the outstanding Carlisle football team and was later appointed head of athletics at the school.
