Today, the first floor of the Lamar Bathhouse serves as the Park’s official store, the Bathhouse Row Emporium run by Eastern National.
Lamar Bathhouse History
The Lamar Bathhouse opened in 1923, after replacing the previous wooden Victorian bathhouse of the same name that stood there before. The Lamar remained in operation until 1985, and was most known for having tubs of different lengths to accommodate people of different heights.
