Lassen Crossroads is a great place to begin your Lassen Volcanic adventure. This site is located just outside the park's Northwest Entrance near the Manzanita Lake Area and serves as the crossroads between the park and the surrounding Lassen National Forest. Interpretive panels within multiple open-air pavilions describe the Lassen region's rich cultural history and natural features

The area includes a restroom facility and a large parking area that accommodates RVs, trailers, and buses. Visitors arriving in multiple vehicles can park here during open hours to carpool into the park. A short trail from the pavilions provides access to classic NPS-style entrance sign on the south side of Highway 44.

The parking area is gated during the winter snow season and outside of summer hours. View summer season dates and hours.
