One of only two boat launch areas at the park's inland lakes.

Canoe/Kayak/Small Boat Launch, Parking - Auto, Parking - Boat Trailer, Restroom - Seasonal, Toilet - Vault/Composting, Water - Drinking/Potable

The LIttle Beaver Lake boat launch is located in the Little Beaver Lake Campground at the end of Little Beaver Lake Road. The campground is 18 miles east of Munising along Alger County Road H-58, then 3 miles down Little Beaver Lake Road. There is a small parking area for non-camping boaters to use.

Little Beaver Lake leads into the much larger Beaver Lake. These two beautiful inland lakes are perfect for canoes, recreational kayaks, and small motorized boats. Note: Electric motors only are permitted on Little Beaver Lake and Beaver Lake as these lakes are within the Beaver Basin Wilderness. Pets are not allowed in this campground, launch area, or in boats on these lakes.

Single unit vehicles in excess of 36 feet and vehicle/trailer combined units in excess of 42 feet are prohibited to travel down to the campground because of the narrow, twisting, hilly access road.

Drinking water and a vault toilet are available seasonally at the campground.

Michigan law requires that all boats and boating equipment be clean and dry before being launched into a body of water in order to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species. Help us keep these pristine lakes free of damaging invasive species!
