Overview
A school, a church, and a place to come together as a mountain community. Built in 1881 with tulip poplar logs, this one room schoolhouse served many purposes for the community of Little Greenbrier. Explore the cemetery near the school and imagine what life was like for the people that came before us.
How to Get There
- Drive up Little Greenbrier Road (closed in winter) and park near the schoolhouse or hike up Metcalf Bottoms Trail.
