Lot F provides access to Old Black Top Road, which is a 1.6-mile hike and bike trail. It accommodates about 8 vehicles.

This 1.6-mile unpaved hiking and biking route leads to the Taylor Farm area and several intersecting trails. In the early 1900s, Jennie (Davis) and Robert Taylor raised wheat, oats, corn, and other vegetables on their 110-acre farm for their family and to sell in their store. The federal government purchased the farm in 1942 and razed the buildings. Wisteria vines and blackberry bushes once cloaked the foundations of the farmhouse.

Watch your step for tree stumps and slippery rocks. Check yourself periodically for ticks. Keep your pets on a leash and do not feed wildlife. Do not disturb or remove any plants, animals, or historic features.

When biking, be sure to stay on designated biking trails. Ride in single file on paved roads, obey all traffic regulations and yield to pedestrians. When overtaking others, be cautious and provide advance warning of your presence. Additional safety tips: wear a helmet and gloves, check your brakes and tire pressure, watch for debris, control your speed, carry water and a park map, and be aware of changing weather conditions.
