Pride of Baltimore II is a historically evocative reproduction of a War of 1812-era privateer based out of Baltimore, Maryland. Capturing public imagination through unique worldwide voyages of discovery, Pride II honors Maryland seafarers of all eras and, wherever she sails, shares the innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and patriotism that forged and continues to define Maryland’s maritime identity.

Pride of Baltimore II was commissioned in 1988 and was built as a successor to Pride of Baltimore, tragically lost in May 1986 during a storm in the Atlantic Ocean.

Pride II has visited over 200 ports in 40 countries and logged more than 275,000 nautical miles. When docked in Baltimore, the ship hosts public sails, deck tours, and interpretive programs throughout the year. The ship is also available for private charters.
