Depending on where you would like to visit inside Rocky Mountain National Park and what time of day you plan to arrive, you might need a timed entry reservation. There are two different reservation options available to choose from: Timed Entry + Bear Lake Road or Timed Entry.

Beginning on May 23 through October 19, 2025 between the hours of 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, those interested in visiting destinations located on Bear Lake Road, like Bear Lake, Glacier Gorge, Sprague Lake, or Moraine Park will need a Timed Entry + Bear Lake Road Reservation. 

• With a Timed Entry + Bear Lake Road Reservation, you will have access to all other areas of Rocky Mountain National Park.

 All timed entry reservations allow park visitors to enter RMNP within designated two-hour windows of time. You must arrive within your reservation window. There is no set time for departure. The reservation system will apply to all areas of Rocky Mountain National Park.
