Location Description: Picnic Grove 5 is located on Beach Drive NW close to the intersection with Joyce Road NW. It is directly across from the US Park Police Headquarters District 3 Substation. The location sits just below the level of the road and has a few picnic tables scattered through the narrow space between the road and the creek. The area is prone to flooding after heavy rains and can be sandy or muddy.
