Located on the east side of Rocky Mountain National Park along Bear Lake Road, Sprague Lake is one of the most popular destinations inside Rocky Mountain National Park. There is a 0.7-mile loop trail around the lake. Sprague Lake is open year-round and is a great place for wildlife viewing and fishing. During the winter season, enjoy ice fishing. In the spring, listen to the calls of many different song birds. Many species of wildlife call this area home during the summer season.

There are picnic tables and restrooms near the paved parking area.

From the Sprague Lake Parking Area, take a walk to scenic Sprague Lake. There is a 0.7-mile loop trail around the lake. Enjoy scenic views of Sprague Lake and the Continental Divide.
