Historically this room was the other room used as classrooms and living quarters for priest in seminary school. After more additional quarters for priest were built in 1887 the rooms were used for other things. By 1893 this room was used as a bed room and instructional space for orphaned boys. During this time there was a lot of maintenance and improvements made to the building in support of the orphanage. This lasted until 1917 when the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia resulted in major financial losses. By the 1930 most of the first floor can been converted into three rental apartments to help the church with founds.
