Description

Join us to learn all about a detrimental invasive species found here at Lake Mead National Recreation Area and all throughout the Mojave Desert. Invasive weeds impede our native habitat’s ability to thrive, so removing the invasives will give the native plants a better chance at survival. Volunteers will help us with removing Sahara Mustard. If one day is not enough for you, volunteers can get certified on how to remove Sahara Mustard on their own time!

Reservation or Registration: Yes

Registration is required. Space is limited. To register, please email LAKE_volunteer_coordinator@nps.gov or call 702-293-8711.
