Description

Find Your Park After Dark: Observe the Moon
Join the park staff and volunteers for special moon activities during the day from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Later that night we will bring the cosmos closer with the park's telescopes.

The nights events will be located next to the Stockade Fort. Follow the paved path past the cabin until you read lights. These events will start at 7:00 pm and end at 9:30 pm.

Feel free to bring a lawn chair, towel, or blanket to sit on as we gaze up at the sky. Personal telescopes are welcome, but the park is not responsible for any damage. Flashlight are allowed, but we suggest putting a red filter or red plastic wrap over them. This will allow you to get and keep your night vision.

Reservation or Registration: No
