#DYK that hands-on building can help students improve their math skills, motor skills, and more?
Starting this Saturday, New Bedford Whaling NHP and the Community Boating Center of New Bedford are collaborating to build a 12-foot boat, called a Bevins skiff. “Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, INVOLVE me and I learn.” This is the soul of the Community Boating Center of New Bedford.
Please join us for boat building from 12-4 PM on Saturdays, May 22 through June 26. Come for one session or all of them! We want you to be a part of this journey as we create a fun and safe learning environment for ALL!
