Description
Hit Grant’s Trail, part of Great Rivers Greenway, at Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site (adjacent to Grant’s Farm) and bike to the Historic Sappington House. This family-friendly, 4-mile round trip includes a brief presentation about the Gravois Greenway, and a complimentary tour at Thomas Sappington's home. Along Grant’s Trail, formerly the Kirkwood-Carondelet Railroad, a National Park Service ranger will describe points of interest. Free reservations are required; call 314-842-1867 ext. 230. Bike Through History is hosted by Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site in partnership with Great Rivers Greenway, and the Thomas Sappington House Museum.
