Description

Join a ranger and try out snowshoeing for a hike through the beautiful Miller Woods. There are a limited number of snowshoes available. Snowshoeing is dependent on the amount of snow on the ground with a minimum of 3 inches of snow required. If there is not enough snow, the ranger will still lead a traditional hike. Call 219-395-1824 for snow conditions. This program is sponsored by Friends of Indiana Dunes. For more information on how to join, visit dunefriends.org.

The Paul H Douglas Center for Environmental Education is located in the western portion of the national park at 100 North Lake Street, about one mile north of U.S. Highway 12.

Passes are required. For more information, visit the Fees & Passes page.
