Wilderness Visitor Center: 40.7324° N, 72.8669° W. Take William Floyd Parkway (Route 46) to Smith Point County Park for access to the Wilderness Visitor Center. Parking is available in the Smith Point County Park parking lot just east of the Wilderness Visitor Center, a small octagonal building to your right as you are headed south.

Description

Join National Park Service rangers and volunteers to help clear the Otis Pike High Dune Wilderness of marine debris washed in by recent storms. Participants will hike the beach or the Burma Trace to the various areas where the debris is concentrated. This project involves walking through tall grass. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes or boots and bring work gloves if possible. Please park in the Smith Point County Park parking lot.
