In celebration of Women's History Month, this pre-recorded book talk between ranger John Fowler and author, Jill Watts concludes, as she discusses her book “The Black Cabinet: The Untold Story of African Americans and Politics During the Age of Roosevelt.” Watts explores the role of Mary McLeod Bethune in creating FDR’s Black Cabinet during FDR’s administration and the role of other NCNW members in the cabinet.
