Description

Did you attend our introduction to tree plantings webinar and are ready to get your hands dirty and plant some trees?

Join us for this hands-on tree planting event at the Ottauquechee River Trail on Saturday, April 30th, from 9-12pm. We will be joined by Bill Musson, Forester with Redstart Forestry and Ron Rhodes, Director of Restoration Programs with the Connecticut River Conservancy for a hands-on lesson in planting trees. Each registered participant will be able to plant a tree after learning about what makes a successful tree planting. Additionally, trees will be available to take home to your property and plant as part of a Tree-Plenish project sponsored by the Woodstock Union High School.

Event is limited to 50 people and registrations are required. Family friendly event. Workshop will take place entirely outdoors, please dress appropriately. Attendance at the webinar is encouraged but not required (recording will be available for viewing). Workshop is co-sponsored by the Upper Valley Trails Alliance, Vermont Coverts, and Vermont Woodlands Association.
