Description

Fort Donelson National Battlefield is a wonderful place to come and create your own memories.  As part  on National Park Service’s Park Memory Day, we will be celebrating this day with a fun and informative hike with a Park Ranger through the battlefield on the Donelson Trail. This hike will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Visitor Center parking lot located at 120 Fort Donelson Park Road, Dover, Tennessee, and will take approximately 2 hours. The Donelson Trail at Fort Donelson National Battlefield is over 3 miles long and is considered moderate with steep climbs in some locations. Please ensure proper footwear, bring water, and bug spray for this hike.
