From Grand Canyon Visitor Center, continue driving along South Entrance Road, then make the first right turn onto a road that curves to the right and leads into a large parking lot. At the far end of the parking lot, a wide, paved footpath climbs a hill to the museum and the canyon rim at Yavapai Point. From the village, take South Entrance Road past Park Headquarters and Market Plaza, then make the next left turn onto the road that leads into the Museum's parking lot Another option is to park at the visitor center, then ride the free Kaibab Rim (Orange) Route shuttle to the museum. From the bus stop, walk the uphill path to Yavapai Geology Museum. Immediately behind the bus stop, a level footpath through the trees leads directly to the Yavapai Point Amphitheater on the edge of the canyon.

Description
- 5 pm: Ranger's Choice program. Join us for a surprise program. Topics change daily. Come curious, leave inspired! Meet in front of Yavapai Geology Museum. Program duration: 30 minutes. Presented daily.
- We all have our favorites - favorite restaurants, favorite music, favorite parks; and we've incorporated personal interests into our Ranger's Choice programs. Join a ranger, or a park volunteer, for a program that is geared towards that individual's "favorite" topic or theme here at Grand Canyon! Some of our recent Ranger's Choice talks have featured programs about: Geology, Wildlife, History, Grand Canyon's Trails, Astronomy, and California Condors —to name a few.
- You can park in the Yavapai Point/Museum parking lot, or ride the free Kaibab (Orange) Route shuttle from the Visitor Canter to the museum.
