Description

Swing by the east side of Saguaro NP to peer through telescopes into the wonders of our night sky! A small group of astronomers will be on-site sharing their knowledge and equipment with you.

Bring your wonder, curiosity, and patience as visitors take turns looking through a few telescopes to celebrate International Dark Sky week in your neighborhood national park site!

Remember to be on-site by 8 pm because the gates will close preventing additional visitors to arrive. Families will be able to leave whenever they are ready, regardless of the time.

Visitors will park in front of the Rincon Mountain Visitor Center and be guided back to the telescopes by park staff and volunteers. Please bring red lights to protect night vision.
