Description
The 2024 Chicago Labor Day Parade and Eddie Fest is returning to Chicago’s Pullman neighborhood on Saturday, August 31! The parade and festival showcases Pullman and the neighborhood’s historic connection to the Chicago labor movement and the fight for fair wages and working conditions.
This year’s parade features nearly 100 floats from unions, business, elected officials, and other community organizations as well as a performance from the South Shore Drill Team. Afterwards, Eddie Fest features a live band and DJ, craft and food vendors, bounce houses, games, and activities for children and so much more!
Labor Day is an incredibly important part of our story, so come out and experience a slice of history while engaging with the incredible community of Pullman! Free. No Reservation Required.
In addition we will be holding trolly tours of the neighborhood in the afternoon, Tickets are free and will be available starting at 1 pm at the NPS tent in Arcade Park and will be first come first served.
