Description

Eighty years ago the greatest sea battle ever fought in the Second World War began the liberation of the Philippine Islands. The Battle of Leyte Gulf determined not only the liberation of the Philippines, but it also meant the Japanese Imperial Navy would never sail again from its home waters. Join a park ranger to discover this historically significant naval battle and how it impacted the war in the Pacific.
