Description
Interested in learning about the American Revolution in Charleston? From the Patriot victory at the Battle of Sullivan's Island in 1776 to the Patriot defeat at the surrender of Charleston in 1780, Charleston played a key role in the American experience of the War for Independence.
Park staff and volunteers in period clothing will drill and fire reproduction muskets. Learn about the role of these weapons in the campaigns in Charleston during the Revolution.
