What Happened in 1868?
Accompany RCUH-Hawaiian Volcano Observatory (HVO) geologist Katie Mulliken as she provides insights into Mauna Loa, the Earth's largest active volcano. Learn about the impactful 1868 eruption and associated earthquakes. Additionally, gain knowledge on HVO's monitoring efforts for Mauna Loa, which has experienced 34 eruptions since 1843, with the latest in 2022.
