Description

One hundred years ago, a major influenza epidemic raged in communities near and far. Known at the time as the "Spanish Flu," this world health crisis was responsible for millions of deaths.  During this program, we will learn about this history as well as local work in transforming vaccines today. Christopher Locher, CEO and Founder of Versatope Therapeutics will talk about the work his company and others are doing to create new state of the art vaccines. We are happy to offer this program during National Immunization Awareness Month.

This free program is hosted at the Boott Cotton Mills Museum (115 John Street). Free parking is located at 304 Dutton Street, a 10 minute walk from the museum. On Sundays street parking is also free in metered spaces.
