Description
Join the National Park Service, Arlington Public Library and Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail to celebrate Earth Day! Carillonneurs will perform live musical concerts on the 53-bell carillon while the tulips are in bloom. Presenters will host activities and present information on Earth Month, tulips and our local treasure—the Netherlands Carillon. Enjoy live music, storytimes, crafts, and stroopwaffles (while supplies last).
A small public parking lot is available at the U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial, that fills quickly. It is strongly recommended to take public transportation. Both buses and metro have stations within walking distance of the Netherlands Carillon.
