Description
Join Dr. Ida E. Jones, author of "Mary McLeod Bethune in Washington, D.C.", for an afternoon presentation on Mrs. Bethune's Scroll of Honor. As president of the National Council of Negro Women, Mrs. Bethune presented the Scroll of Honor to over 70 women's rights activists, authors, civil rights leaders, and champions of human rights from all races and backgrounds. Dr. Jones' talk will highlight these historic women and discuss the relevance of Mrs. Bethune's vision today.
