This program is free and open to the public.

New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park presents "Bossa Nova Beat to New Orleans Streets," a three week residency hosted by Park Ranger Jade Perdue (vocals) in partnership with Afro Brazilian guitarist and scholar Geovane Santos that aims to bring awareness of US American Jazz influence in Bossa Nova and vice versa throughout the month of April. The music program will focus on historical and artistic aspects of the music genre having as references various compositions by pianist and composer Antonio Carlos Jobim reimagined with Ranger Perdue's voice and Santos' innovative arrangements.
