A monthly feature movie based on the French & Indian War or 18th century life shown on our big screen followed by a brief discussion on the historical accuracy of the film.
Cecil B. DeMille's Unconquered is a 1947 drama set in the Ohio River Valley immediately following the French and Indian War. French withdrawal from the Ohio River Valley left a power void. Would it be filled with unscrupulous villians, or dauntless heroes?
Stay after the film to discuss the historical accuracy of the film and the biases and depiction of people of different cultures and genders.
