present a

Jazz Concert

featuring the

Saskia Walker Band

Friday at 2:00 pm

At the National Park Service French Quarter Visitor Center

419 Decatur St, New Orleans

Bruno Elisabetsky (guitar and vocals) and Saskia Walker (vocals) bring a full band, featuring Pedro Segundo, Nick Benoit, and Victoria Douton, to play the Brazilian music they have been exploring together. They will be diving into the different styles of Brazilian music, the influence it has had on all World Music, and the musical language it has picked up from New Orleans jazz and funk too! These musicians come from all over: Brazil, Italy, Portugal, Uruguay, the United States, and are coming together in New Orleans for the first time to share their rich cultural and musical ideas.

This program is free and open to the public.
