Join Ridgefield storyteller and women’s studies scholar Dr. Darla Shaw to learn about Women's History in National Parks. Dr. Shaw conducts research and leads programming on Women's history in national parks across the country, including Rosie the Riveter National Historical Park, Women's Rights National Historical Park, Springfield Armory National Historic Site, and Weir Farm National Historical Park. The program will feature an overview of twenty National Park Service sites on the East Coast that focus on the lives of remarkable women in history.  Dr. Shaw will share highlights, stories, and photographs of dynamic and influential women in celebration of Women's Equality Day. Program will take place in the Burlingham Barn classroom space. No Registration Required!
