Description
The Upper St. Anthony Falls Lock and Dam will open to the public for the 2021 summer season on Memorial Day Weekend.
The lock wall will be open to the public from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Tuesday - Sunday from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Last entrance will be at 5:15 PM.
Free ranger led tours of the lock and dam are offered daily at 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Learn about the the lock and dam, St. Anthony Falls, and milling. Tours are limited to 10 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
NPS passport stamps are available at this location. There are numerous possibilities for walks and exploring the area's rich history, besides our guided tours. Talk to a ranger about possibilities!
