On Sunday, March 12, 1933, U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt introduced a new way to communicate with the American people like never before. What began as a radio broadcast to explain why the banking system was closed would evolve into 29 more Fireside Chats. Join a park ranger to explore the story of FDR's first Fireside Chat and the lasting impact it had on the country.
