Description

On the nights of the full and new moon in May and June, horseshoe crabs arrive at Fire Island’s beaches to lay their eggs. Join park rangers to learn about these prehistoric creatures and why they are so important to the food web, as we walk to a bay beach to observe them. Dress for the weather and for walking on sand.
