Description

Join Lowell Parks and Conservation Trust and the Lowell Film Collaborative for a free showing of the documentary "Landfill Harmonic". This event is part of the 2019 Eco-Film Series, a monthly presentation of environmentally themed films from January through June. Films are shown at the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center at 246 Market Street, Lowell. Free parking for the film series is available at the Visitor Center parking lot located at 304 Dutton Street, Lowell.

ABOUT THE FILM: This film follows the Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, a Paraguayan musical group who live next to one of South America’s largest landfills. This unlikely orchestra plays music from instruments made entirely out of garbage, recycling trash and inspiring dreams.

This film is presented in partnership with Lowell Solid Waste & Recycling and MA DEP.
