Join our Cultural Resources Program Manager, Cody Dalpra, for an exploration of stone tools in Northern New Mexico. Cody will give an overview of the historical development and cultural significance of stone tools, tracing their origins from raw material sources to their various applications in daily life.

Highlighting the unique geological and archaeological landscape of Northern New Mexico, the talk examines the techniques of tool production, the adaptation of communities to their environment, and the role these tools played in shaping human interaction with the land over time. This discussion will underscore the enduring legacy of stone tool technology in the region. There will be time after the talk for a question-and-answer session.
