Description
Join us for a lecture by Dr. Pat Malone, an industrial archaeologist and historian of technology. Dr. Malone will discuss “Archaeology at the Wilkinson Mill: Using Material Evidence to Recreate a Water Power System.” Malone was the Director of Slater Mill Historic Site from 1974-1989. Hear about his first-hand experience as the principal investigator in the wheel pit excavation of Wilkinson Mill, a significant engineering landmark.
