Registered campers will need to be dropped off at 9:00 am at the New Castle Court House Museum located at 211 Delaware St., New Castle, 19720, and picked up 12:30 p.m. from the New Castle Public Library located at 424 Delaware St. New Castle, 19720. Campers are to be dropped off no earlier than 8:45 and picked up no later than 1:00 pm. Additional information will be provided in the registration packets which will be received a month before camp starts.


Description

Travel through history with us this summer at the FREE New Castle History Summer Camp! This years camp will be focused on the early history of New Castle and feature the history of the American Revolution in New Castle and the Ratification of the Constitution. At the end of each day you’ll test your skills as a historian by researching, and designing a creative group project that will be presented to friends and family at the New Castle Public Library.

Email the New Castle Court House Museum at NCCHmuseum@delaware.gov with the following information: - Number of children you are registering. - If you would like to schedule a phone call to discuss any questions or concerns. - After emailing this information, you will receive a registration form that you must complete and return. We encourage you to register as soon as possible as spots will be limited to the first 25 participants and will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will close June 30, 2024 at midnight or when there are no longer any openings, which ever happens first. When your registration is finalized, you will receive a confirmation letter via email.
