Description
After fours years of struggle, Union troops captured Richmond in April, 1865.
On Saturday, April 20th, join us at the East End Branch Library at 11am as a Ranger will discuss these chaotic days as the Confederates evacuated the city, enslaved people received their freedom, and Union troops entered the city and took control.
