Join us at Roger Williams National Memorial on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 2 p.m. for a talk with Dr. Charlotte Carrington - Farmer and retired National Park Ranger John McNiff about Dr. Carrington-Farmer's new book, Roger Williams and His World: A History in Documents. During this discussion, Dr. Carrington-Farmer talks with McNiff about how her latest collection makes the writings of one of the most documented figures from 17th-century New England more accessible to readers. They will discuss the founding of Providence, Williams's beliefs about religious freedom and the separation of church and state, and his relationships with Indigenous peoples.
