Dr. Richard Baker, Professor Emeritus and Former Chairman of the Geology Department at the University of Iowa, will discuss geological formations at Big Bend National Park in Texas. How long have they been there? How did they form? What kind of life do the sustain? Complete with pictures and visuals, Baker will offer insight into the various and eclectic rock formations in the nation’s protected lands.
