Description

Come hear selected scenes from Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, written in 1843. The novella was an immediate success in England but it didn't become popular in the United States until the Civil War.

 Anne Williams, historic interpreter and actor, will recite from memory Dickens text, which includes the narration not heard in plays and films. The program is approximately 45 minutes.

The program is free, but seating is limited. Reservations are required. Call 314-842-1867.
