Museum: Natural History: Biology Collections

The biology collection of the Seashore aims to be comprehensive in the kinds of organisms it documents. However, the general collection should be limited in the number of individuals of each species. A given species should be represented by approximately two to three specimens to include, when applicable, distribution among age categories (adult and immature) and sexes.
