Downed Trees

a photo of a blow-down area
A 1973 photo of downed trees in Hidden Valley, Rocky Mountain National Park.
Hundreds of trees, indicted by the arrows, were blown down by hurricane force
winds. Trail Ridge road can be seen as the wandering white line up the left side
and across the top of the photo, and the then-present ski runs are also visible.
